  • Biography Chassez has been playing ballroom dances for years. Recently they have been performing and recording tunes from pioneer Pacific Northwest music manuscripts from which dance bands played community dances in the PNW. These manuscripts were discovered and published by Vivian Williams, now acknowledged as the foremost historian of dance music of the pioneer west.

  • Biography Formed in 2004, SpeakEasy plays from authentic "stock arrangements",mostly from the 1920's and early 30's. These were commercially available orchestrations of popular music of that era. This is a recreation of the sound as it would have been heard from many dance bands around the country at that time.
