  • Biography Kids Get Hit by Buses (KGHB) is one of four groups selected by Gabe Hayward per request of Celene Ramadan in collaboration with Folklife coordinators Kelli Faryar, Jacob Stone, and Paige Ervin, for the proposed "Chiptune Showcase" in the EMP SkyChurch May 26 from 1pm-4pm. KGHB was a semi-finalist in the EMP Sound Off 2009, performed at Folklife the same year, and helped coordinate the Folklife Chiptune Showcase in the Skychurch in 2010. KGHB has been performing live in venues all over the Pacific Northwest for over 7 years now, and always put on a wild show to get the crowd dancing. They use a hybrid of electronic instruments, live vocals, and retro video game consoles to create a truly unique experience complete with costuming and stage antics!
