The Warren G. Hardings
Bad President. Fun Band.
  • Genre BG -- Bluegrass
  • URL http://www.facebook.com/thewarrenghardings
  • Biography "While Harding epitomized the vigor of the corn-fed farm boy, he was, in reality, a violator of reasonably healthy behavior. His only exercise consisted of desultory rounds of golf, fairly frequent love trysts, and at least twice-weekly marathon poker games. These card games were drenched in highballs, suffused with cigar smoke, and punctuated with copious expectorations of tobacco juice into strategically placed spittoons. While Harding and his cronies played cards and munched on roast beef sandwiches, the Duchess kept the whiskey flowing. These games often ran past one in the morning."

Polecat
Stomp Bluegrass Celtic Dance
  • Genre CFMA -- Contemporary Folk Music - Americana
  • URL http://www.polecatmusic.com
  • Biography Formed in Bellingham, Washington in March 2010, Polecat has quickly established itself in the Northwest, with two records and over 100 shows in one year. Their unique instrumentation is comprised of Karl Olson (drums), Jeremy Elliott (electric guitar and vocals), Aaron Guest (vocals and 12 string guitar), Cayley Schmid (fiddle), and Richard Reeves (upright bass). This enables them to seamlessly blend genres including bluegrass, country, celtic, rock, and world music into their sound. There is a sense of mass appeal attached to Polecat for their unique take on roots music, as well as an acknowledged respect for their honest approach to where the music comes from. Aside from their self-titled E.P. and full length album 'Fire on the Hill', one of the best aspects of Polecat is their live show. Their music celebrates life, love, and good times, and it reflects on the faces of the players and their audience. Polecat has shared the stage with several nationally acclaimed acts, including The Infamous Stringdusters, The Hackensaw Boys, Trampled by Turtles, and The Moondoggies.
