- Biography Allspice has been playing for Seattle area folkdancers for 35 years. The band plays folkdance music from many different countries, and has been a regular performer at Northwest Folklife Festival participatory dances for many years, as well as many other venues such as Skandia Midsommarfest and Expo 86 in Vancouver, Canada. The band features "lots of fiddles" with accordion, guitar, and bass, and members also double (or triple) on other instruments as musical styles dictate. Allspice has released a CD of international dance music title "Dance Tonight!", which includes some old favorites as well as some Allspice originals for which the band is well-known.
