- Biography JOCELYN PETTIT is an exceptional young fiddle player, stepdancer, singer, guitar player, and composer, from the West Coast of Canada. With her 4-musician band, she performs NEW-TRAD Celtic music - from high-energy dance tunes to lyrical airs. This uplifting music is based on Canadian Maritime, French-Canadian, Scottish and Irish traditions, and original influences inspired from living in the British Columbia Coastal Mountains. A highly successful debut CD was released in 2010, and received honourable recognition nationally and internationally. In the words of Europe's Folkworld Magazine, Jocelyn is "a top-notch musician, and major emerging talent". With grace and passion, her dynamic, feel-good performances have ignited stages and delighted audiences across Canada, the USA, Scotland, and Malaysia.
