- Biography Aaron Otheim (Heatwarmer, Speak) and David Balatero (Operation ID, Song Sparrow Research) are frequent participants in Seattle's pop, rock and experimental circles. Both Otheim and Balatero help run the Cafe Racer Sessions and record label Table & Chairs. Smallface is a collaboration that draws on the duo's mutual background in classical chamber music and shared affinity for new and avant-garde music.
