Biography Karsangjamtso "Karjam" Saeji is a singer from Amdo Tibet, he was raised as a nomadic herder of yak and sheep about thirty mountainous miles from the town of Machu. While still in high school he was recruited by the ground-breaking and widely-known Gannan Tibetan Performing Arts Troupe. From 1991 to 2007 he was a full-time member of their company, performing as a dancer and increasingly a singer. In 2007 he moved to America where he has been pursuing a solo career. In 2007 he released his first solo CD, Pilgrimage and in 2011 he recorded the long-awaited follow-up, Tibet in my Heart.
