I believe the purpose of life is continual evolution - to live with a constant notion, at least in the back of the head, that we can always improve. To keep our minds open and limber is key... be ready to question even deep rooted absolutes if you find strong proof of otherwise. The following is something I wrote that rings true to me.
"Seek calm, collected courage in everything you do, for it is all a means to an "end" (or perhaps a beginning). The perspective of every situation can always be turned. If it is constantly turned to feelings of love and thoughts of higher purpose, it will cascade into all aspects of life. The meaning of life is to evolve, to learn from mistakes and move on, move higher. Continually changing perspective, never locking oneself into a closed mind. Everything is relative and no one is right or wrong. The only thing we can ever be sure of is how we feel. Of course many things often get in our way, and confuse us. But always, if we really listen, we know which way to go."
